School Trip to Mexico City
As soon as the coronavirus situation allows it again we will plan to fly with a group of 7 photographers to Mexico City, where they will be welcomed by photography students and lecturers of the AAVI, Academia des Artes Visuales. All participants will have private accommodation with Mexican photographers and photography students.
Participants will work in Mexico City for 10 days with Mexican photographers who will show off their city and help students realize their photo projects. During this time there will be regular meetings to look at first pictures and discuss photo projects. There will also be visits to exhibitions and interesting art and photo institutions in Mexico City.
After the 10 days in the city, all participants will have the opportunity to travel through the country on their own, or together, to visit historical sites of the Aztecs or spend a few days surfing, snorkeling, swimming or just reading on the beautiful beaches of the Pacific Ocean. The joint return flight back to Berlin is planned for March 7th. Individual extensions of the trip are possible.
Please apply for participation with a portfolio (20-45 pictures), a short letter of motivation (approx. 5 sentences explaining why you wish to participate), a copy of your passport and a short CV.
